£22,035 – £22,425 per annum, dependant on experience


Are you looking for a new role within care but cannot commit to changing shift patterns?

We are looking for experienced carers to work Monday to Friday supporting Adults attending our Day Services Centre.

About The Role

Our day services team aims to provide a wide ranging programme of work, learning and leisure opportunities for individuals with epilepsy and complex learning difficulties for adult residents and individuals on day placements. Our objective is to ensure meaningful engagement for individuals and to achieve their planned outcomes, whilst promoting independence.

We are seeking passionate, caring individuals to work as part of a dynamic team to support and deliver learning, leisure and recreation activities. No two days will be the same as you work closely with the Day Services Manager to arrange and participate in activities, record and support personal achievements, assist with personal care and domestic duties, whilst ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users.

About You

Experience of working or volunteering in a care environment is essential for this role, as is a full clean manual UK driving licence, as you may be required to drive our St. Elizabeth’s vehicles from time to time.

To be successful in this role, you do need to be dedicated, motivated, caring and passionate about people. We ask that you share and demonstrate our values and passion to support our residents to live their lives as independently as possible.

You will be supported by St Elizabeth’s to make a difference by not only providing personal care to the people we support, but assisting them to take part in a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, swimming and gardening as a form of therapy.

St Elizabeth’s is situated in 60 acres of Hertfordshire countryside between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. We support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs in our Children’s Homes, School, College, Residential Homes with Nursing and Day Centre.
