I have been working as an Animal Health expert at the Ethiopian Disaster Risk Management’s Early Warning and Response Directorate since October 2021. Prior to that, I worked as a livestock disease management and prevention expert in Oromia, Ethiopia’s Dale Sadi district, Kellem Wollega zone. I’ve worked as an Animal Disease Control and Prevention Expert in the Dale Sadi District for almost 5 years. Prior to entering the Dale Sadi district, I completed an internship at the Mesfin Solomon Dairy farm, which was supported by the Agribusiness Development Addis Ababa Chambers of Commerce. My educational background includes an MSc in Veterinary Microbiology from Haramaya University and a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from the same institution. During my MSc and DVM degrees, I worked on a number of research projects with the help of different Haramaya University advisers. In general, I have written more than six publications on livestock health and management up to this point.
