A Scrum Master holds a position that’s relatively narrow in scope, yet extremely broad in influence throughout any organization. In practice, however, a Scrum Master is working behind the scenes and is not involved in product ideation or strategy. They work more as a conduit between product/line-of-business owners and development teams as a project manager. A Scrum Master, on the other hand, maintains a high-level view, helping teams to understand both organizational and technical dependencies while avoiding chokepoints. This creates a culture of accountability and enables teams to meet critical deadlines.
ROLE:
- You will moderate an agile software development team, ensure that the methodical processes are implemented in the best possible way, and thus make a decisive contribution to achieving the team’s goals
- As an expert in agile software development, you can skillfully use existing tools and practices (eg, Jira, Kanban, Epics, Features, Stories, Kanban, Scrum, Ceremonies) and make sure team members can use the tools as well
- In case of problems and obstacles, you are the first point of contact, develop solutions and help to eliminate problems
- The team results are supported and communicated by you, successes celebrated together and opportunities for improvement discussed with the team
- As an agile leader you actively and comprehensively support the consolidation and further development of the agile methodology in the organization
EXPERIENCE:
- You have at least 3 years experience as a Scrum Master
- Must have professional experience in the SAFe framework or another agile enterprise methodology
- High energy and enthusiastic about what you do with a collaborative approach to change
- must speak German and English to a professional level
